CPR Instructor

Save-A-Beat CPR, LLC is seeking experienced, dependable, and professional American Red Cross (ARC), American Safety & Health Institute, and American Heart Association (AHA) CPR Instructors to join our growing team on a per diem/part time basis.

Qualified candidates will be responsible for independently conducting CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, and AED certification courses at our training facility and various client locations throughout South Florida.

We are looking for instructors who are passionate about teaching lifesaving skills, have excellent communication skills, and can deliver engaging, high-quality training while maintaining compliance with ARC and AHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CPR, BLS, First Aid, and AED certification courses following current ARC and/or AHA guidelines.
• Lead classroom instruction, video presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and skills assessments.
• Prepare, set up, and maintain all necessary training equipment.
• Evaluate student performance and ensure successful completion of certification requirements.
• Complete attendance rosters, course documentation, and post-class paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Communicate professionally with students, clients, and company management.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment.
• Travel to designated training locations and arrive prepared and on time.
• Independently manage assigned classes from start to finish.

Requirements

All applicants MUST meet the following qualifications:

• Active American Red Cross (ARC) Instructor/AHA/ASHI Certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience teaching American Red Cross CPR/BLS courses.
• Must own CPR training equipment, including adult and infant manikins, AED trainers, and necessary instructional supplies.
• Strong knowledge of current CPR, AED, First Aid, and BLS training standards.
• Ability to independently conduct certification classes.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout South Florida.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teaching skills.
• Professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Flexible availability for weekday and occasional weekend classes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor Certification.
• Experience teaching healthcare professionals, corporate groups, and large classes.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Additional emergency response instructor certifications.

Compensation & Schedule

This is a per diem/part time position, with classes assigned based on instructor availability and company needs.
