The Opportunity

Cynet is seeking a Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO) to own all of Product, Engineering, and Counter Adversary Operations — a single, accountable leader for the outcomes Cynet delivers to its customers and partners. With Product, Engineering, and the Counter Adversary Operations organization all reporting into this role, the CTPO is the one throat to choke for driving product and service outcomes end to end.

This is a dual mandate. Beyond owning technology and product, the CTPO serves as Managing Director of Cynet’s Tel Aviv office — the most senior executive on site and a stabilizing, unifying leadership presence. Working alongside the other Israel-based leaders, the CTPO is accountable for the stability, cohesion, culture, and continuity of the office, and for making Tel Aviv a destination for top engineering, product, and security talent as Cynet scales.

Organization

Reporting into the CTPO:

• Product Management — end-to-end product strategy and delivery.
• Engineering — platform and product engineering.
• Counter Adversary Operations — via the SVP, Security Operations & Research (Threat Intelligence, Cybersecurity Research, Data Science, CyOps/SOC & MDR delivery, Infrastructure Development, and Incident Response).

What will you do:

• Own the full product and technology strategy across Product Management, Engineering, and Counter Adversary Operations , with single-threaded accountability for customer and partner outcomes.
• Ship new products and capabilities at high levels of quality and stability, applying product management and engineering best practices end to end.
• Run a disciplined agile release cadence with strong quality, reliability, and delivery predictability.
• Harness AI across the entire product lifecycle — accelerating discovery, development, testing, and release — and embed AI deeply into Cynet’s products.
• Make AI, large language models (LLMs), and frontier models central to how Cynet builds and defends — a must for staying ahead of threat actors who are leveraging the same tools to move faster — with the judgment to apply the best model to each use case, pairing frontier models with capable open/free models (e.g., DeepSeek) where they fit.
• Champion a creative, innovation-first culture; leverage hackathons, “vibe coding” sessions, and similar forums to keep the team inventing.
• Serve as an active, visible voice for Cynet — including on social media — to ensure the company’s technical point of view is heard.
• Ensure Counter Adversary Operations is tightly integrated with Product and Engineering, so detection IP and MDR delivery continuously reinforce the platform.
• Ensure the services Cynet delivers leverage the Cynet Platform first and foremost — driving Product, Engineering, and Counter Adversary Operations to build the core outcomes customers rely on natively on Cynet, and to reduce dependence on outside/third-party tool stacks.
• Partner with the CEO, COO, and Executive Leadership Team to align technology and product with company strategy and commercial goals.

Managing Director — Tel Aviv Office

As Managing Director, the CTPO is the senior executive leader of Cynet’s Tel Aviv office and a key steward of the company’s Israel presence.

• Serve as the most senior on-site executive and leadership presence in the Tel Aviv office.
• Partner with the other Israel-based leaders to ensure stability, continuity, and cohesion across teams — especially through periods of growth and change.
• Own and protect the office’s culture, values, and employee experience, preserving the environment Cynet wants as it scales.
• Champion the attraction, development, and retention of top engineering, product, and security talent in Israel.
• Act as the senior escalation point and decision-maker for cross-team, site-level matters.
• Represent Cynet locally and provide steady, senior leadership continuity for the office.
• Partner with HR, IT, and the COO’s organization on site-level operations to ensure a productive, well-run workplace.
• Foster a high-energy, innovation-first community across the Israel teams through technical forums, hackathons, and knowledge-sharing.

• A predictable, high-quality release engine with measurable gains in stability and velocity.
• AI meaningfully accelerating both how Cynet builds and what Cynet’s products do for customers.
• Frontier and open/free models applied to the right use cases, keeping Cynet ahead of AI-accelerated adversaries.
• A unified product-and-services experience in which Counter Adversary Operations and the platform reinforce one another.
• Core products and services delivered on the Cynet Platform first, with a measurable reduction in reliance on third-party tooling for the outcomes customers depend on.
• A stable, energized, high-performing Tel Aviv office and engineering culture.

Requirements:

• Senior leadership experience owning both Product and Engineering (e.g., CTPO, or a combination of VP/SVP Product and VP/SVP R&D) at a high-growth B2B SaaS or cybersecurity company.
• Deep command of product management and engineering best practices, with a track record of shipping new products at high quality and stability.
• Proficiency running an agile release schedule at scale.
• A strong, current understanding of what is possible with AI and how it is accelerating the product lifecycle — and how to build AI-native products.
• Demonstrated ability to foster innovation and creativity (e.g., hackathons, rapid prototyping, experimentation).
• Comfort and effectiveness engaging externally, including on social media, as a technical voice of the company.
• Experience leading in an Israel R&D / US-market environment, with the gravitas and track record to serve as Managing Director and senior site leader of the Tel Aviv office — stewarding culture, stability, and talent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cybersecurity domain experience, ideally with detection, MDR, or threat-research adjacency.
• Experience scaling a product organization through the growth stage.
