CQE Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Quality Engineer to serve as the key technical liaison between customers and internal factory teams. The role is responsible for managing customer quality requirements, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting new product and process qualification activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate customer technical and quality requirements to internal teams to drive continual improvement.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional factory departments to establish, validate, and certify new products, processes, and equipment.
• Provide timely responses to customer inquiries; clarify and resolve technical and quality-related issues effectively.
• Lead problem-solving activities using quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, and other root cause analysis methodologies.
• Prepare and present weekly customer quality performance reports (LAR / PPM) and implement improvement action plans.
• Monitor industry trends, new technologies, and new product developments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead customer audit activities based on customer requirements and ensure timely closure of identified gaps.
• Support Sales team on technical inquiries and customer visits.
• Track and manage sample qualification processes and ensure timely communication with customers.
• Maintain strong customer relationships; communicate company direction, new technologies, and product updates while reporting market trends and customer demand changes internally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Manufacturing / Industrial or related field)
• Strong knowledge of quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, PDCA.
• Experience handling customer audits and quality performance reporting (PPM, LAR).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willing to travel when required.
