Ace Handyman Services – Bozeman, MT Position Summary

Our craftsmen are responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining 100% customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and projects in carpentry, tiling, drywall, and general handyman trades
• Assist with preparing repair estimates and project budgets for customers
• Communicate with customers regarding job progress and any changes to scope, labor, or materials
• Accurately track job details using company-provided software
• Provide regular job status updates to the Office Staff
• Represent and strengthen the Ace Handyman Services brand through quality craftsmanship and professionalism

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Professional verbal and written communication abilities
• Proven experience as a craftsman or professional handyman
• Own tools necessary for carpentry, tiling, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
• Reliable transportation capable of hauling ladders and materials
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, carry, pull, or move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs while following safety protocols
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Maintain safe and clean work environments

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, or humid)
• Moderate noise levels when operating power tools and equipment

The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. Ace Handyman Services is a franchise network of Independently Owned and Operated Franchises. Ace Handyman Services’ work itself is often indoors in temperature-controlled environments, and is primarily of lighter-duty than new construction projects. There are Franchise Owners and Office Managers to assist with the day-to-day operations and administrative side of the business allowing our Craftsmen to focus on the tasks at-hand and provide our customers with professional services that delight our customers. Our Franchise Owners are successful, business-savvy individuals, who are ethical and treat their Staff like Family. The safety and well-being of TEAM members is a top priority. Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
