Crane Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Crane Maintenance Technician to carry out inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes and related lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect cranes and lifting equipment to identify mechanical issues.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as per maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in crane systems.
• Check and maintain hydraulic, braking, transmission, and mechanical components.
• Inspect moving parts, cables, connections, and other components for wear or damage.
• Replace faulty or worn-out mechanical parts when required.
• Carry out lubrication and general servicing of crane equipment.
• Use appropriate tools and testing equipment safely.
• Test crane operation after maintenance or repairs.
• Report equipment faults and major repair requirements to the supervisor.
• Maintain basic maintenance and repair records.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow company safety procedures and equipment maintenance guidelines.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in crane maintenance, heavy equipment maintenance, or a similar mechanical role.
• Good knowledge of crane mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and workshop equipment.
• Understanding of workplace safety and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, responsible, and willing to follow instructions.
