Crane Operator

We are hiring a safety-conscious Crane Operator to operate mobile or tower cranes, execute lifting operations per site plans and perform daily equipment inspections to ensure smooth construction workflows.

Job Responsibilities

1. Safety Management

●   Implement and monitor the company's Safety and Health Management System.

●   Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), CIDB requirements and other relevant regulations.

●   Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

2. Risk Assessment & Compliance

●   Prepare and review Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), HIRARC, and other safety documentation.

●   Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.

●   Monitor subcontractors' compliance with safety requirements.

3. Training & Awareness

●   Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and induction training for workers and visitors.

●   Promote a positive safety culture across the project site.

●   Ensure all workers use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

4. Documentation & Reporting

●   Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and statutory documentation.

●   Liaise with DOSH, CIDB, clients and consultants on safety matters.

●   Prepare monthly safety reports and ensure timely submission of required documents.

Requirements

●   Registered Green Book Site Safety and Health Officer (DOSH Malaysia).

●   Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field.

●   Minimum 2 years of relevant site safety experience is preferred.

●   Good knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and construction safety practices.

●   Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
