Crane operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Crane Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating cranes and heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials safely and efficiently across various construction sites. Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, mobile cranes, forklifts and other heavy equipment with precision and safety awareness.
• Rigging materials securely for lifting operations, ensuring stability and adherence to safety protocols.
• Handle materials efficiently within construction sites, warehouses, or shipping & receiving areas to support project timelines.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with team members to plan lifting sequences and ensure smooth workflow on-site.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and operational activities for accountability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating cranes and heavy machinery in construction or industrial environments.
• Mechanical knowledge of crane systems, rigging techniques, and general heavy equipment operation.
• Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred.
• Strong understanding of rigging procedures, materials handling, and safety standards on construction sites.
• Ability to operate related equipment such as forklift.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
