Crane Operator

A Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy materials, equipment, and machinery on construction sites, warehouses, ports, or industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile, tower, overhead, or crawler cranes safely and efficiently.
• Inspect cranes and equipment before and after each shift.
• Lift, move, and position heavy loads according to project requirements.
• Follow load charts and manufacturer operating guidelines.
• Communicate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors during lifting operations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Secure loads properly and monitor crane stability throughout operations.
• Maintain accurate operation and inspection records.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling cranes when required.
