Crane Operator

Core Responsibilities

• Crane Operation: Use levers, pedals, and buttons to precisely control the boom, winch, and swing functions of the Kato MR-100 rough-terrain crane.
• Site Navigation: Drive and maneuver the compact mobile crane safely on public roads or rough, uneven off-road terrain to reach the work zone.
• Setup and Stability: Position outriggers, level the machine, and use load charts to verify that lifts stay within safe weight and radius limits.
• Inspections: Conduct daily pre-and post-trip safety checks on hydraulic hoses, cables, hooks, fluid levels, and basic mechanical components.
• Communication: Coordinate smoothly with riggers and signal persons using standard hand signals or radios to guide blind or complex lifts.
• Maintenance: Perform basic routine servicing, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting, reporting major mechanical defects to the supervisor

Job Requirements

• Certification & Licensing: Valid heavy equipment National Certification (such as a local NC2 for Mobile Crane Operation) and an appropriate professional driver's license.
• Experience: Proven hands-on experience operating compact or rough-terrain mobile cranes.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of crane load charts, hand signals, rigging gear (slings and shackles), and site safety rules.

Pay: From Php1,200.00 per day
