Crane Operator Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred by many employers).
• Valid driver's license (if required for mobile cranes).
• TESDA National Certificate (NC II) in Crane Operation or an equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience operating cranes in construction, mining, industrial, or logistics environments.
• Knowledge of crane load charts, lifting capacities, and safe rigging practices.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
• Familiar with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company safety policies.
• Able to inspect crane equipment and identify mechanical issues before operation.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with riggers, signal persons, and supervisors.
