Crane Operator

About the role

Iron Rose Logistics is a 100% women-owned WA crane hire, rigging and lift planning business working across mining, construction and infrastructure. We're looking for experienced operators for an upcoming job on a Rio Tinto site in the Pilbara. Positions available for 250t Liebherr All-Terrain Operators and 25t Non-Slewing Crane Operators on day and night shifts. FIFO ex Perth with flights, accommodation and meals provided. Start date: 21 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 250t Liebherr All-Terrain Crane or 25t Non-Slewing Crane on Rio Tinto site
• Put safety first and know your JHAs, lift plans and pre-starts
• Work well with riggers, doggers and the client's site team
• Communicate clearly and be reliable on site
• Work both day and night shifts as required

About you

• Must have current Rio Tinto site induction
• At least 5 years' crane operating experience
• HRWL for the crane class: 250t - C0 (Open); 25t - CN (Non-Slewing)
• Dogging (DG) and/or Rigging (RB)
• Experience on Pilbara mine sites
• Current WA driver's licence (HR/MR to suit the crane)
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
• Willing to complete a VOC (verification of competency)

Pay

$65.00 - $80.25 per hour, depending on experience and crane.
