Crane Operator

About the Role

APH Marine Construction is hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our growing team. This is a key role on our 60’x24’ barge operating a Link-Belt LS-78 crane to support seawall installations, pile driving, demolition, and bucket operations for commercial and residential marine construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate barge-mounted Link-Belt LS-78 crane
• Perform pile driving, demolition, and bucket operations on marine construction sites
• Conduct routine crane maintenance and assist in troubleshooting complex issues
• Maintain accurate logs required by engineers
• Use BuilderTrend software to update project logs and documentation
• Communicate clearly with crew and direct customers to appropriate APH contacts

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years experience operating cranes in marine construction
• Reference from a prior marine or construction relationships
• NCCCO certification preferred
• Must complete OSHA training (provided by company)
• Familiarity with digital project tracking tools
• Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
