About the Role

We’re looking for multiple Crane Operators/Storepeople to support a variety of activity across our factory operations and dispatch team. We have both day and night shifts available, 42.5 hours per week.

• Day shift hours: Monday to Friday 6.00am - 3.00pm.
• Night shift hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 2.45pm - 11.45pm**.** Wednesday: 2.30pm – 11.30pm**.** Night shift also has an additional $3 per hour loading rate.

You’ll be working across both our dispatch and factory operations, working with raw steel, finished components, forklifts, overhead cranes, and trucks moving in and out of the factory.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork, and a strong work ethic matter.

What you'll be doing

Dispatch activity:

• Receiving and unloading incoming steel and parts
• Checking delivery documentation and receipting goods accurately
• Storing materials safely using forklifts
• Collecting finished parts from production
• Packing, strapping, and preparing goods for dispatch
• Loading trucks safely and efficiently
• Ensuring dispatch paperwork matches physical shipments
• Working closely with production teams to keep goods moving through the factory
• Keeping stores, packing and dispatch areas tidy and organised

Factory operations activity:

• Handling materials safely using overhead cranes and forklifts
• Supporting our Laser, Plasma or Press Brake machine operators as required
• Completing daily safety and basic maintenance checks, following quality processes
• Keeping your work area tidy and organised
• Pitching in across the team when needed

What you'll bring

Experience in warehousing, stores, dispatch, or manufacturing environments is helpful.

• Forklift license and operation experience
• Experience operating overhead gantry crane
• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
• Attention to detail
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, physical environment
• A safety mindset, particularly around forklifts, cranes and manual handling
• A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in when the team needs it
• Pride in doing a job properly
