Create a JD for 5Pax - Equipment Engineer (MNC/Semiconductor)

Role Overview
We're looking for Equipment Engineers to join a leading MNC in the semiconductor industry, supporting equipment performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform equipment preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high equipment uptime and reliability.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and control systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvement actions to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
• Conduct equipment qualification, calibration, and modification activities.
• Analyse equipment failures and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Work closely with Production, Process, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation, maintenance records, and equipment reports.
• Support equipment installation, upgrades, relocation, and improvement projects when required.
• Follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related Engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant equipment engineering experience, preferably within the semiconductor / electronics / precision manufacturing industry.
• Experience in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
