About us

The Digitize Center (a division of No Limit Enterprises, Inc.) turns families' old videotapes, film reels and photos into digital files they can watch again. Customers across the country mail us their originals, our technicians digitize every item by hand at our own facility, and everything goes home with them. We have digitized over a million memories.

The job

We need someone to shoot and edit short videos for our Facebook and Instagram ads. You will work from scripts and shot lists we give you, film on a phone in our facility, and edit vertical videos of 15 to 40 seconds with captions.

This is a hands-on, entry-level role. We will teach you our process, our customers and what we can and cannot say in an ad. What we cannot teach quickly is an eye for a good shot and the patience to get an edit right, so that is what we are hiring for.

What you will do

• Film staff, our process and our kits on a phone, following a shot list
• Edit short vertical videos with on-screen captions, and deliver them to a set checklist
• Make four to six new videos every two weeks once you are up to speed
• Produce still images for ads, emails and web pages
• Keep footage and finished files organized and named consistently
• Take feedback on which videos performed and apply it to the next batch

What we are looking for

• You already shoot and edit short videos, for yourself, for school or for someone else, and can show us two or three
• You know your way around at least one editing app (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or similar)
• You follow written instructions exactly, and ask when something is unclear
• You are careful. Our customers send us things that cannot be replaced, and you will be working around them

Helpful, not required: experience with photo editing, lighting or sound; having made ads before.

Pay and hours

$15 per hour, Flexible hours

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
