Creative Content Creator

We are a growing fine jewelry brand specializing in vintage, unique, and modern fine jewelry, including natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, gemstones, and custom pieces.

We’re looking for a creative, fashion-forward Social Media Content Creator in Orange County who loves jewelry, understands Instagram and TikTok, and knows how to create content that feels effortless, aspirational, and actually makes people want to shop.

This is a hands-on creative role. We’re looking for someone who can come in, look at a piece of jewelry, and immediately see the content opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Create engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, and carousel content
• Film jewelry content using an iPhone and/or camera
• Develop creative concepts, hooks, scripts, and shot lists
• Capture jewelry in natural light, on-body, in lifestyle settings, and in visually interesting ways
• Edit short-form video for Instagram and TikTok
• Help develop recurring content series and recognizable visual concepts for Julzgold
• Stay current on Instagram and TikTok trends and identify trends that can be adapted to a fine jewelry brand
• Create content around new arrivals, vintage finds, lab diamonds, gemstones, custom pieces, styling, education, behind-the-scenes, and the personality of the brand
• Help make our social presence feel more luxury, cool, feminine, playful, and editorial
• Collaborate with the owner to brainstorm campaigns, launches, promotions, and content ideas
• Occasionally assist with photoshoots, product styling, and content days
• Organize and maintain a library of usable photo and video content

What We’re Looking For

You should:

• Have experience creating content for Instagram and/or TikTok
• Have a strong eye for fashion, jewelry, beauty, or luxury aesthetics
• Understand what makes short-form content engaging
• Be comfortable filming yourself, other people, products, and lifestyle content
• Know how to edit Reels/TikToks
• Be able to create content that feels natural and not overly “influencer” or corporate
• Have strong visual taste and attention to detail
• Be proactive and able to come up with ideas rather than waiting to be told what to post
• Be comfortable working with a small, fast-moving business
• Be reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines

Bonus Points

• Experience working with a jewelry, fashion, beauty, or luxury brand
• Photography skills
• Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Canva, or similar tools
• Experience creating UGC
• Understanding of Instagram analytics and content performance
• Experience growing a brand organically on social media
• Comfortable being on camera
• Experience with Shopify or e-commerce

Schedule

Part-time: approximately 15–25 hours per week

Based in Orange County, California.

We’re looking for someone who can work in person for content creation, with some flexibility for editing/planning remotely.

Ideally, looking for 2–3 days per week, depending on the content schedule.

For the right person, there is potential for increased hours and responsibility as the brand grows.
