What they need
Creative Coordinator — Job Description
Oct 22, 2026
About Swivel
Swivel is a start-up founded in 2018 by Simcha Kackley. Swivel has fewer than 10 highly engaged B2B clients with $10–200M in annual revenue, and our team immerses as their “growth team.” We manage it all: go-to-market strategy, buyer personas and journey mapping, demand gen and lead gen, and sales enablement. The goal is to help our clients drive predictable revenue through a more strategic, long-term approach.
The Role
Swivel is looking for a creative, organized person to join our growing start-up team as Creative Coordinator. We now produce our design work with AI, and this role owns that engine across every client: ad creative, emails, landing pages, web and UX mockups, sales collateral, social and video. You’ll direct AI tools the way an art director directs a designer, turning campaign briefs into finished assets that ship on time, on brand, and built to perform.
You’ll work closely with the Founder, VP Ops, our paid media and outreach leads, and the entire team, and you’ll present creative directly to clients. This is a high-energy, fast-paced position that rewards strong project management, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to juggle many deliverables across multiple client brands at once. You should be comfortable brainstorming, experimenting with new tools, giving and receiving creative feedback, and working in an environment that values both independent thought and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Powered Creative Production
- Produce client creative using AI design, image and video tools: paid social and display ads, email designs, landing pages, web and UX mockups, one-pagers, case studies, slide decks and short-form video
- Write the prompts, reference inputs and art direction that get on-brand, high-quality output from AI tools
- Refine and finish AI output in tools like Canva, Figma or Adobe so every asset is polished and production-ready
- Build ad creative variations (formats, sizes, hooks, visuals) quickly to support testing across Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Translate campaign strategy and messaging into clear creative briefs, and present concepts to clients
AI Workflows and Tooling
- Build and maintain reusable prompt libraries, templates and brand style references for each client
- Evaluate new AI creative tools and features, and recommend what Swivel should adopt
- Document repeatable workflows so the whole team can produce consistent creative faster
- Know where AI falls short, and when an asset needs extra human finishing or an outside specialist
Project Coordination
- Own the creative calendar and production pipeline across all clients, from brief to approval to launch
- Manage creative requests, timelines and handoffs in our project management system so nothing slips
- Run the review and approval process with internal stakeholders and clients, turning feedback into fast revisions
- Coordinate outside specialists (e.g., video or illustration) when a project calls for it, keeping work on scope and on budget
Brand and Quality Control
- Learn and maintain each client’s brand guidelines, voice and visual standards, and make sure AI output follows them
- QA every asset before it goes live: brand consistency, accuracy, typos, AI artifacts, and image rights and licensing
- Keep an organized library of templates, brand assets and past creative for each client
Performance and Optimization
- Partner with the paid media and email teams to understand which creative is working and why
- Use results from ads, emails and landing pages (including heatmap tools like Hotjar) to generate new creative and testing ideas
- Use AI’s speed to test more concepts, not just more versions, and bring fresh ideas and formats that keep client creative from going stale
Reporting
- Contribute creative highlights, tests and learnings to monthly client reports
- Track creative output, turnaround times and AI tool costs to help the team plan capacity
The Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of experience in a creative, design or marketing coordination role (agency experience a plus)
- Hands-on experience producing marketing creative with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI or AI video tools)
- A portfolio of digital creative such as ads, emails, social, web pages or video, including work produced with AI
- A strong design eye: color theory, typography, layout and visual hierarchy, so you can judge and direct AI output
- Working knowledge of Canva, Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite for finishing and editing
- Strong project management skills and comfort running multiple deadlines across multiple brands
- Solid writing and editing skills, with an eye for headlines, hooks and clear calls to action
- Familiarity with B2B marketing, paid social and email marketing
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Attributes
- Excited about a start-up environment
- Genuinely curious about AI and quick to pick up new tools
- Strong work ethic, sense of urgency and desire to succeed
- Process oriented, with great attention to detail
- Highly organized yet able to see the “big picture”
- Above-average listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Takes creative feedback well and gives it constructively
- Fast learner who proactively tackles challenges
- Team player
Core Values
The ideal candidate will align with Swivel’s 5 core values:
Be Human: We can do amazing things and still not get everything right. We’re all trying our best, and we acknowledge this in others as well as in ourselves. We hold work-life balance as foundational to being human, and we respect and encourage that balance in each other. We allow ourselves and others the space to make mistakes and to improve because of them.
Think Intentionally: When we live from a place of intention and purpose, it spreads out to every part of our lives and our work. We think about our impact and see the big picture. Every day is another opportunity to create what we want to see in the world.
Foster Positivity: Positivity is not automatic. Instead, it’s a choice we make every day to focus on fostering what we want instead of what we don’t. Positivity means accepting what we can’t change while trusting in our agency to impact our circumstances for the better.
Take Ownership: We own our work and know the value it can give to other people. We take responsibility for our share and will help others when they need it.
Nurture Curiosity: We know that questions will take us further than answers, and that by listening we learn more than by speaking. Curiosity is important to us because it adds value to our lives, makes the world exciting and open, and deepens our own abilities in the world.
