Position: Creative / Design Manager

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Creative / Design Manager will lead the development of trend-driven apparel collections while managing and mentoring a high-performing design team. This role requires an individual who combines exceptional creative vision with strong people leadership and a deep understanding of manufacturing and global sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to conceptualise and develop seasonal collections.
• Lead the design team through the entire creative and product development process.
• Translate global fashion trends into commercially viable products for international clients.
• Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and timely execution.
• Mentor, inspire, and develop designers while fostering a collaborative creative culture.
• Present design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and collection stories to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency in brand aesthetics, quality, and innovation across all product categories.

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience in apparel design and product development.
• Proven experience with leading apparel sourcing or buying organisations.
• Strong background in manufacturing and global sourcing is essential.
• Exceptional creative ability with a keen eye for trends, color, fabric, and silhouette.
• Demonstrated people management and team leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
