The Job:

Game Reign is looking for talented and experienced individuals to create a new experience for mobile. This position will focus on the creative design of mobile content and you will be expected to wear many hats! The ideal candidate should be highly driven, eager to learn, and possesses a clear sense of creative vision and direction. You should have strong interpersonal skills, boundless creativity, a deep understanding of games, and a genuine passion for crafting meaningful player experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Development: Generate and develop original game concepts, proposals, characters, and storylines that engage players and support the game’s long-term vision and direction.
• Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure a cohesive creative vision throughout the development process.
• Game Mechanics: Contribute to the design and refinement of gameplay mechanics, ensuring they are fun, engaging, and aligned with the game's vision.
• Prototyping: Create prototypes and mock-ups to visualize and communicate ideas effectively to the team.
• Feedback and Iteration: Participate in playtesting sessions, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to enhance the overall player experience.
• Market Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor games to inspire and inform creative decisions.

Qualifications, Skills & Preferences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Art, Creative Writing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative work in game design, art, or narrative development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly.
• Demonstrate strong drive, vision, and a clear sense of direction, proactively taking ownership of tasks and contributing to long-term team and business goals.
• Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of player engagement and experience.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Conversational Chinese proficiency required for business communication with chinese-speaking stakeholders
