What they need

We are looking for a Creative Designer who can shoot, edit and design video and graphic content that makes businesses stop scrolling and take notice. You will support Info-Tech Malaysia and our new product, Info-Tech Academy. You will plan, shoot and edit videos, and design graphics that support our campaigns, events and sales. Both video and graphic design are core to this role. Video is our growing priority, so stronger video skills are a plus, but you must also produce polished, on-brand graphic design work.

Main Responsibilities

1. Video Production

  • Plan, shoot and edit videos end to end: Meta ads, short-form social videos (Reels), customer testimonials, event highlights, product demos and explainers.
  • Conduct on-site shoots at customer offices and event venues, including setting up camera, lighting and audio.
  • Direct non-professional talent (customers, colleagues, trainers) to look and sound natural on camera.
  • Edit for each platform: formats and ratios, pacing, hooks, subtitles, motion graphics, sound design and colour correction.
  • Repurpose long-form content (webinars, events, training sessions) into short clips.
  • Organise and maintain a footage and asset library for future reuse.

2. Graphic Design

  • Design static and carousel ads, social media posts, EDMs and landing page visuals that are clear, eye-catching and on brand.
  • Apply strong layout, typography and colour fundamentals so every design communicates the key message at a glance.
  • Create and maintain reusable design templates to keep output fast and consistent.
  • Design print and event materials, including brochures, booth layouts, banners and event collateral for HR conferences, exhibitions and roadshows.
  • Support website visual updates and sales materials such as presentation slides.
  • Help build and apply the visual identity for Info-Tech Academy, including course promotions, trainer profiles and training materials.

3. Chinese Content

  • Edit and adapt Chinese-language content, including video subtitles, ad visuals, EDMs and social posts.
  • Check Chinese text in designs and videos for accuracy, tone and correct characters before publishing.

4. Creative Ideas and Experimentation

  • Pitch fresh content ideas and formats; keep up with social media and video trends.
  • Experiment with new styles, hooks and formats, and learn from what works.
  • Review ad and content performance with the marketing team to improve future creatives.

5. AI-Assisted Workflow

  • Use AI tools to improve quality and speed, e.g. concept drafts, image editing, upscaling, auto-captioning, audio cleanup and rough cuts.
  • Apply taste and judgement to every AI output. We expect refined, on-brand work with a human touch, not copy-paste AI content.

6. Brand and Workflow

  • Maintain brand consistency across Info-Tech Malaysia and Info-Tech Academy.
  • Manage multiple requests and deadlines; communicate early when timelines are at risk.
  • Perform other duties assigned by your superior to meet operational and business needs.

Main Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in video production and/or graphic design. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
  • Portfolio showing both video and graphic design work, including videos you personally shot and edited.
  • Hands-on experience shooting with camera and/or smartphone, including basic lighting and audio setup.
  • Solid graphic design fundamentals: layout, typography, colour and visual hierarchy.
  • Proficient in video editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve) and design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma).
  • Able to read, write and speak Chinese; good command of English. Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel within the Klang Valley for shoots.
  • A genuine passion for video, design and content creation, and a love for trying new ideas.
  • Able to take feedback well and turn revisions around quickly.

The Package:

  • Basic Salary
  • Meal Allowance
  • Annual Leave
  • Medical Leave
  • Medical Benefit and Group Hospitalization Insurance
  • Accessible to Public Transport (LRT, MRT, KTM & Monorail)
