Creative Designer (Remote)

Location: 100% Remote (Must work US Eastern Time) Position Type: Ongoing, Part-Time W2 Contract (~10-20 hours/week) Compensation Range: $38.00 - $43.00/hour Are you a social-first designer who knows how to turn complex B2B topics into thumb-stopping visual stories? Cella is seeking a mid-level Creative Designer on behalf of a leading insurance client to help transform their social media presence into a dynamic, platform-native brand experience.

Responsibilities:

• Social-First Visual Design & Motion: Concept and design scrolling-optimized visual assets-including multi-page carousels, infographics, 2D motion graphics/animations, and interactive elements tailored to platform algorithms.
• Short-Form Video Editing & Repurposing: Perform short-form video editing, content cutdowns, and multi-format adaptations from long-form assets or event coverage to maximize content efficiency.
• Conceptual B2B Strategy: Proactively translate high-level briefs into fresh, creative treatments and pitch original concepts that break through traditional corporate noise while maintaining brand governance.
• Channel & Leadership Support: Provide dedicated creative support for primary corporate channels as well as executive and subject-matter expert (SME) thought leadership programs.
• Platform Optimization: Resize, adapt, and tailor visual assets across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital channels.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-6 years of experience in a social-first design role (e.g., Social Media Designer, Content Creator, Visual Artist) within a B2B agency or in-house environment (Tech, Professional Services, Insurance, or related sectors).
• Portfolio: Must showcase strong social storytelling, scroll-stopping visual design, multi-page carousels, 2D motion/animation, and short-form video editing.
• Technical Skills: Versatile proficiency across digital media tools, including Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Creative Mindset: Strong understanding of platform mechanics, emerging trends, conversational brand tones, and B2B approval workflows, with a proven track record of taking initiative beyond standard templates.
