What they need
Overview
We are seeking a motivated, curious and community‑minded Creative Operations Intern to support Creatful’s day‑to‑day operations and gain hands‑on experience in creative community work. This role is ideal for someone starting out in the creative, community or wellbeing sectors who wants to build confidence, skills and insight while contributing to meaningful change for women facing multiple disadvantages.
As our Creative Operations Intern, you will support communications, marketing, networking and small operational tasks that help Creatful stay connected, organised and visible. You will learn how a creative health organisation works behind the scenes, contribute to real projects and be supported to grow your strengths. Your compassion, creativity and willingness to learn will directly support our mission and the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Communications & Marketing Support: Assist with social media content, marketing, newsletters and storytelling that reflects Creatful’s values and amplifies community voices.
- Networking & Community Engagement: Support outreach activities, attend local events, help build relationships with partners and contribute to Creatful’s presence in the community.
- Operational Support: Help with small administrative tasks, organisational activities and supporting smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Programme Assistance: Contribute to creative sessions where appropriate, helping facilitators set up, welcome participants and maintain a warm, safe environment.
- Learning & Development: Engage in reflective practice, learn about creative health, trauma‑informed approaches and sustainability, and develop skills relevant to your future career.
Requirements
- Interest in creative community work, wellbeing, social impact or communications.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions and try new tasks with support.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, compassionate approach.
- Basic organisational skills and the ability to follow guidance and manage small tasks.
- Confidence using social media or creative tools is helpful but not essential.
Our commitment to you
We are committed to creating a supportive, flexible and empowering learning environment. You will receive guidance from Creatful’s Director, opportunities to build your skills and space to explore areas of interest. We value your perspective and will work with you to shape the role around your strengths and aspirations.
We welcome applications from neurodivergent people, those with lived experience of mental health challenges or recovery, people who need flexibility to stay in work, and anyone passionate about women’s wellbeing and creative health. Your insight and compassion are an asset to our organisation and the communities we serve.
