Position Overview
Real Life Christian Church is seeking a highly organized and systems-minded Creative

This role is the operational backbone of the Arts & Experience Department — moving creative
ministry initiatives from vision to execution with excellence across all campuses. The ideal
candidate is proactive, relational, and thrives in collaborative environments. They anticipate
problems early and turn recurring challenges into repeatable systems that bring clarity to

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Project Leadership:

  • Lead project planning and execution for Arts & Experience initiatives
  • Manage day-to-day creative oversight for events and special projects (Mother’s Day,

Father’s Day, Special Sundays, guest speaker weekends and more)

  • Develop project timelines, milestones, deliverables and communication plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects involving worship, production, social media,

teaching team, communications and guest experience

  • Keep projects moving through proactive follow-up and accountability
  • Keep leadership informed of project status, risks and priorities

Systems & Process Development:

  • Design, build and implement scalable systems and workflows for the department

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, checklists and playbooks for recurring projects

and seasonal events (Christmas Eve, Easter, Worship Nights, Special Sundays)

  • Configure and optimize project management tools (Asana, Planning Center Online, Box)
  • Lead post-event evaluations and turn findings into process improvements
  • Train staff, ministry leaders and volunteers on department systems

Department Operations & Special Events:

  • Run recurring Special Events Sync and maintain the shared special events tracker
  • Own Arts & Experience project trackers for seasonal and special projects
  • Manage creative request workflows and project intake
  • Maintain department project calendars and planning schedules

Weekend & Event Readiness:

  • Support creative planning for weekend experiences and special events
  • Coordinate creative timelines and deliverables between teams
  • Confirm creative readiness across teams before major ministry moments

Leadership Support:

  • Partner with the Arts & Experience Pastor on department planning and strategic

initiatives

  • Facilitate meetings, track action items and ensure follow-through
  • Offer operational insights and recommendations to improve team effectiveness

What You’ll Need:

  • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to serving in a Christ-centered

environment

  • Member of Real Life Christian Church adhering to the Real Life Membership Covenant
  • Commitment to Real Life Core Values (Faith-Filled, Life-Giving, Open-Handed,

People-Centered)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of project management, operations, event coordination or ministry leadership

experience

  • Experience building and implementing systems, workflows or SOPs
  • Demonstrated ability in a creative discipline (worship, A/V, production, photography,

social media, graphic design, etc.)

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, calm under pressure and highly collaborative

Why Join Real Life?

  • Be part of a Christ-centered, supportive church community
  • Make a lasting impact on creative ministry across multiple campuses
  • Collaborate with like-minded ministry leaders in a purpose-driven environment
  • Grow professionally and spiritually through ongoing development
