Creative Specialist

About the Job

CannaPlanners is looking for a Creative Specialist to join our growing Creative Services team. This role is focused on production design—bringing creative concepts to life quickly, accurately, and consistently across a wide range of client deliverables.

As a Creative Specialist, you'll support both our Creative Services and Retention Marketing teams by producing high-quality marketing assets in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. You'll work from established brand guidelines, creative briefs, and copy documents to create email campaigns, SMS graphics, social media assets, digital advertisements, print materials, packaging updates, and other marketing collateral for cannabis brands across the country.

This is an ideal role for someone who loves design production, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys collaborating with multiple teams to keep projects moving.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing email and SMS marketing campaigns in Figma
• Creating digital marketing assets including social graphics, display ads, TV ads, website graphics, and promotional materials
• Producing print collateral, packaging updates, menus, signage, and other branded assets in Adobe Creative Suite
• Translating creative briefs into polished, on-brand deliverables
• Supporting both the Creative Services and Retention Marketing production queues
• Preparing production-ready files for both digital and print use
• Making revisions based on client and internal feedback
• Maintaining consistency with client brand standards across all deliverables
• Collaborating with Creative Account Managers, Retention Marketing Managers, copywriters, and project managers to meet deadlines
• Managing multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• Contributing ideas to improve internal design workflows and production efficiency

Must Haves

• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and production work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Experience designing in Figma
• Strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize work effectively
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow brand guidelines while maintaining creativity and consistency

Nice to Haves

• Experience designing email marketing campaigns
• Experience creating social media and digital advertising assets
• Packaging or print production experience
• Familiarity with WordPress or web design
• Experience working in a marketing agency environment
• Basic understanding of digital marketing, email marketing, and branding principles
