Ubego is a platform for creating and publishing interactive city quests. Players explore real-world locations and complete quests through the Ubego mobile application.

We are looking for individuals with a strong knowledge of their local area and an interest in developing engaging city-based experiences.

Role Overview

As a City Quest Developer, you will create original quests based on real locations in your city. You will work with our team to develop storylines, design routes, and prepare quests for publication.

This is a remote, project-based collaboration with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Research local attractions, cultural spaces, and points of interest.
• Develop original city quest concepts and storylines.
• Create challenges and interactive tasks for players.
• Design routes connecting relevant locations.
• Prepare quest descriptions and supporting photographs.
• Test quests before publication.
• Make updates and improvements when necessary.
• Communicate with the Ubego team throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of your city or local area.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to meet agreed deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage:

• Tour or local guiding
• Creative writing
• Journalism
• Screenwriting
• Game design
• Escape room design
• Narrative design
• Quest creation
• Event design

Important Information

This is a project-based creator collaboration, not a traditional tour guide position.

Creators do not need to accompany participants in person. Players complete quests independently through the Ubego mobile application.

Compensation terms will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
