About Us

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and conscientious Creche Cleaner to join our team and help us maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control throughout our childcare facility.

The Role

The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children, families and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting children's rooms, bathrooms, corridors, communal areas and other areas of the creche.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors throughout the day.
• Cleaning and sanitising high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, tables and other frequently used surfaces.
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of safely and appropriately.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in laundry and communal areas.
• Following cleaning schedules and maintaining consistently high standards of hygiene.
• Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are stored safely and securely away from children.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns to management promptly.
• Working respectfully and professionally around children, families and staff.
• Following all relevant health, safety, hygiene and infection-control procedures.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and conscientious.
• Trustworthy and able to work responsibly without constant supervision.
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work.
• Comfortable working in a busy childcare environment.
• Friendly, professional and respectful towards children, families and colleagues.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly in a childcare, healthcare, education or similar setting, but full training will be provided where required.

Garda Vetting will be required for this position.
