Creche Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Creche Supervisor to join our team at Brightstar Academy Childcare.

The Role:

The Creche Supervisor, reporting to the Créche Manager, supports the day-to-day running of the crèche, ensuring high standards of childcare, education, health and safety and regulatory compliance. The role includes leading the team, supporting children's learning and wellbeing and maintaining positive relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities: - Support the daily management and operation of the crèche.

• Lead the service in the Manager's absence.
• Supervise, support, and motivate staff to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Ensure compliance with the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016, Tusla requirements, and the principles of Aistear and Síolta.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with parents and respond to queries professionally.
• Assist with staff rosters, record keeping, enrolments and general administration.
• Support quality improvement, inspections and implementation of policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements:- Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education.

• Minimum three years experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, and Tusla Early Years Regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational.
