Job Vacancy: Crèche Teacher

Location: Oluyole Estate, Ibadan

Salary: ₦60,000 Monthly

About the Role

A reputable creche/daycare center in Oluyole Estate, Ibadan is looking for a caring, patient, and responsible Creche Teacher to nurture and care for young children in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers
• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities (songs, stories, play, basic motor and social skills)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom/play environment
• Feed, change, and put children down for naps as required
• Monitor children's health, hygiene, and development, and report concerns to parents/management
• Build positive relationships with children and communicate effectively with parents about their child's day
• Ensure children's safety at all times, including during outdoor play
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, feeding, and incident reports
• Collaborate with other staff to maintain a consistent care routine

Requirements

• Minimum of NCE with relevant experience; a background in Early Childhood Education is an advantage. Individuals with other qualifications and keen interest is encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 1–2 years' experience working with young children (creche, nursery, or daycare setting)
• Genuine love for children and a nurturing, patient temperamenGood hygiene practices and basic knowledge of child safety/first aid
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• Must reside in or be willing to commute conveniently to Oluyole Estate, Ibadan, or its environs
