Credentialing Specialist

Position Summary:

The Junior Credentialing Specialist performs duties related to credentialing (physician and allied health). Provides clerical support and assistance to the Medical Staff Services office. Maintains communication and is a liaison with customer hospitals, Medical Staff Offices, and departments.

Description of Responsibilities:

• Receive and process medical staff pre-applications, applications, and re-applications.

• Collects information and obtains verification from primary sources and maintains primary source verifications and other credentialing correct and data up to date

• Provides clerical support to medical staff department as needed

• Ensures that output meets the standard set by The Joint Commission and hospital by-laws

• Sends courtesy emails and provides status updates to physicians, allied health professionals and staffs from medical office

Working Conditions:

· Amenable to work in BGC, Taguig

· Willing to work in a night shift schedule
