Credit Administration Manager

We are now seeking a high caliber candidate to join our Hong Kong Branch.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the team to ensure smooth and efficient operation in accordance with the relevant regulations, policies and guidelines
• Manage and monitor all credit approval processes, and to ensure that facility and security documents are completed in accordance with the bank’s guidelines.
• Authorize input of facilities limits in system. Control the credit files and ensure that all credit files are adequately organized and up to date. Be responsible for the safe keeping of the original facility and security documents
• Liaise with other departments, branches and solicitors’ firms for all credit administration matters, such as mortgage of properties and legal actions against borrowers, etc.
• Be responsible for fire insurance on mortgaged properties, company, land searches, and all credit enquiries. Keep abreast of the new valuation and the updated valuation of the collaterals
• Ensure asset classification and bad debt provisions are made in accordance with the BOT and HKMA guidelines
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by Operations Manager

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in credit document preparation and review plus at least 2 years in supervisory role
• Professional qualification of Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Operational Risk Management (ORM) is preferred
• Strong leadership with good communication skill, interpersonal skill and sense of responsibility
• Commitment to accuracy and able to work under pressure
• Proficient in both English and Chinese
• Good at MS Office
