Credit Analyst

Role & responsibilities :-

• Credit appraisal & underwriting: Assess creditworthiness of corporate and NBFC borrowers through financial spreading, ratio analysis, and cash-flow evaluation, and prepare credit appraisal memos.
• Risk assessment & rating: Evaluate borrower, industry, financial, and management risks, and assign/validate internal credit ratings.
• Facility structuring: Recommend appropriate facility structures, covenants, security, and pricing aligned to the borrower's risk profile and repayment capacity.
• Due diligence: Conduct financial, banking-conduct, and reference due diligence, including sensitivity and stress-testing of key assumptions.
• Loan documentation: Prepare and vet loan and security documents, ensuring alignment with sanction terms, conditions, and applicable regulations.
• Legal liaison: Coordinate with the legal team for title/search reports, legal opinions, and remarks on documentation, and ensure their observations are addressed before disbursement.
• Disbursement control: Verify security/collateral creation and compliance with all sanction conditions and precedent before release of funds.
• Portfolio monitoring & review: Track covenant compliance, limit utilisation, overdues, and early-warning signals, and conduct periodic credit reviews and renewals.
• Stress management & recovery support: Identify deteriorating accounts, drive remedial action, and support classification and recovery on stressed/NPA exposures.
• Policy, governance & compliance: Ensure adherence to the bank's credit policy, RBI norms, and internal risk framework, with audit-ready documentation**.**

Preferred candidate profile : Having working capital experience.
