Credit Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Financial Analysis: Analyze customer financial statements, cash flows, and debt-servicing capabilities, and evaluate project financial viability to support management decisions.
• Review Credit Applications: Review and verify credit applications, trade credit limits, and payment terms for completeness and accuracy, while assessing contract and progress payment risks.
• Prepare Risk & Credit Reports: Prepare and submit monthly credit analysis reports, summarize company-wide risk positions, and monitor portfolio asset quality.
• Collaborate with Sales: Work closely with sales teams and project managers to determine commercial terms, review customer credit histories, and monitor collection schedules.
• Assess Project Risks & Collateral: Evaluate risks associated with project equipment, machinery, collateral, and project milestones affecting customer cash flows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience in corporate accounting, corporate credit analysis, or credit risk management. (Experience in project-based businesses or equipment leasing is a plus).
• Strong financial statement analysis, understanding of commercial and project contract structures, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Able to work collaboratively as both a team leader and a team player.
