Credit and Collection Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Credit and Collection Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the credit and collection function, ensuring effective receivables management, minimizing credit risk, and supporting business growth through disciplined credit control and strong team leadership.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.       Team Supervision

• Supervise and guide credit and collection associates.
• Monitor daily collection activities.
• Set targets and track team performance.

2.       Credit Control Management

• Recommend credit limits and terms.
• Ensure strict implementation of credit policies.
• Review high-risk and overdue accounts.

3.       Accounts Receivable Oversight

• Review A/R aging regularly.
• Ensure accuracy of receivables data.
• Monitor DSO and overdue trends.

4.       Coordination with Sales and Management

• Align with ASM, SOM, and NSM on account status.
• Support sales while enforcing credit discipline.
• Report risk and collection issues to management.

5.       Reporting Analysis

• Prepare and present A/R and collection reports.
• Analyze trends and recommend improvements.
• Provide insights on customers payment behavior.

6.       Risk Compliance

• Recommend credit holds/account suspension.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Minimize bad debts exposure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.       Graduate of accounting or related field.

2.       3 to 5 years experience in credit and collection.

3.       Leadership and decision-making skills

4.       Strong negotiation and analytical ability.
