ScoreUp is the credit wellness platform and entity of FWH Group, a growing South African financial services group. ScoreUp lets clients sign up online, view their credit report and score, understand what affects it, and access products and services that help them improve their credit over time. We're expanding the team and looking for experienced, motivated people who care about helping others get back on track.

The role

As a Credit Coach, you'll guide a client through their credit improvement journey, from the day they sign up to the day their credit is in better shape. The role combines coaching, sales, customer care and account management. You'll own each client from start to finish.

What you'll do

• Onboard new clients onto the ScoreUp platform (app and client portal) and help them get set up
• Walk clients through their credit report and score and explain them in plain language: accounts, payment history, enquiries, judgments, defaults and adverse listings
• Identify the right products and services for each client's credit profile and close the sale
• Help clients act on their credit: bureau disputes, paid-up letters, removal of adverse listings and judgments, and next steps
• Assist clients with exiting debt review and obtaining their clearance certificate
• Identify prescribed debt on a client's profile and help them take the right steps to address it
• Follow up consistently so clients complete registration, submit documents and stay engaged
• Set up and manage clients' payment arrangements and keep their accounts current over time
• Keep accurate client notes, follow-up records and system updates
• Work to monthly sales, service and collection targets

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) essential
• At least 2 years' experience in sales, credit coaching, case management or a similar client-facing role, specifically involving credit reports
• Experience in debt review, debt counselling or credit rehabilitation, including: assisting clients with exiting debt review and obtaining clearance certificates; identifying and handling prescribed debt; bureau disputes and removal of adverse listings and judgments
• Ability to read and interpret credit bureau reports (TransUnion, Experian, XDS or similar)
• Working knowledge of the National Credit Act, including debt review, clearance and prescription processes
• Proven track record of meeting sales and/or collection targets
• Strong telephone, verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate, with experience using CRM systems, MS Office and digital platforms
• Fluent in English; Afrikaans an advantage
• Able to work on-site in Tygervalley, Bellville
