Credit Control Executive

Job Summary

You will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable, monitoring customer credit, ensuring timely collections, and minimizing credit risk while maintaining positive customer relationship.

Role Description

• Process new credit applications and submit them for approval.
• Perform due diligence and obtain credit reports from CTOS, including reviewing financial information and audited financial statements where required.
• Conduct cross-reference checks and monitor approved credit limits and credit terms.
• Mitigate credit risks following final approval by securing and enforcing appropriate security arrangements, including Bank Guarantees, Directors' Guarantees, Lien Holder Caveats, Assignments, Letters of Credit (Local and Export), and Documents Against Acceptance.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
• Handle legal matters related to credit control and debt recovery.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding of credit management and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, AutoCount, SQL, etc.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
