What you need to know

Matrix Recruitment is recruiting a Credit Controller for a manufacturing company based in Co. Cavan . This is a 12-month contract role with responsibility for managing customer accounts, collecting payments within agreed credit terms and reducing overdue debt.

You will work closely with customers to resolve payment queries while supporting the wider finance team with accurate and timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
• Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Resolve payment queries and assist with customer credit checks.
• Prepare collection reports and support month-end finance processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable .
• Experience using accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong account reconciliation and payment collection skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills when dealing with customer queries.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
