At Events Redefined, we specialise in premium sporting events, live entertainment and exclusive corporate hospitality experiences.

As Events Redefined continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced, confident and proactive Credit Controller with a proven track record in managing outstanding debt, securing overdue payments and handling challenging customer conversations.

We need someone who can take ownership, follow through on payment commitments and deliver results.

We're looking for someone who can build strong customer relationships but also knows when to be firm, handle objections and get results.

What you'll be doing

• Proactively contacting customers to collect outstanding payments.
• Managing overdue invoices and following up on payment promises.
• Handling difficult conversations and overcoming payment objections.
• Agreeing payment dates and ensuring commitments are followed through.
• Maintaining accurate debtor records and updating payment information.
• Resolving invoice queries and working closely with the wider team.
• Monitoring outstanding balances and prioritising overdue accounts.
• Working towards clear collection targets and reducing overdue debt.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year's experience in a Credit Control role.
• Proven experience collecting overdue payments by telephone.
• Confidence handling difficult customers and repeated payment excuses.
• Experience using QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or similar accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills and a friendly but firm approach.
• Self-motivated, trustworthy and comfortable taking ownership of results.
