Credit Controller

Job Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts across SMY and SSG, overseeing debt collection for after-sales services, parts, and contractual agreements.
• Monitor and maintain assigned accounts for SCMY and SCSG to ensure timely collection and healthy account status.
• Take proactive measures to follow up on and recover overdue payments.
• Ensure effective credit control practices while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Handle, investigate, and resolve customer queries related to accounts; negotiate payment terms and debt restructuring plans where necessary.
• Prepare and provide detailed account reconciliations to support collection activities and resolve discrepancies.
• Adhere to company credit policies to maximize collections and minimize overdue balances.
• Generate reports, analyses, and relevant information on both scheduled and ad-hoc basis to support management decisions.
• Conduct regular meetings with customers to discuss outstanding balances, negotiate payment arrangements, and formulate recovery action plans for overdue debts.

Job Requirements

• Diploma qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Sound understanding of the asset-based finance industry; knowledge of the commercial vehicle market will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
