Credit Controller - New Plymouth

We are seeking a Credit Controller for our team in New Plymouth!

This role is responsible for managing the overdue loans and implementing the organisation’s policy and procedures on credit and collection activities.

About you:

• Confident communicator, comfortable handling difficult conversations
• Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Basic to intermediate skills in Excel and internal systems
• Solutions-focused approach with a customer-first mindset
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional image of organisation by appearance, behaviour and the manner in which the service is provided.
• Contribute to the development of overall credit management policies and evaluate current systems and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit and collection activities.
• Prepare reports on the status of credit and collection activities.
• Make recommendations relating to the provisions to be made for bad debts.
• Liaise with other credit controllers and the recovery team to contribute to effective cash flow management.
