Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of relevant credit control experience preferred
• Proficiency in Xero and strong working knowledge of Excel
• Methodical approach to organizing tasks, identifying issues, and meeting deadlines consistently
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently across several homes
• Proactive identification of potential delays, queries, and ledger concerns
• Effective monitoring, tracking, and diarising of invoice submission timelines
• Strong attention to detail when completing account reconciliations
• Excellent numerical skills for reviewing dates, rates, and allocations accurately
• Experience managing end-of-contract account closures for discharges or deaths
• Professional and efficient approach to investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Prompt resolution of queries to support smooth operations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with residents, families, financial representatives, and Local Authorities
• Positive, professional, and courteous demeanor
• Willingness to provide support for additional tasks and projects as required
• Proven effectiveness under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving operational challenges

Responsibilities

• Liaise with residents, their families, external agencies, and colleagues to support smooth operations and fee collection
• Manage credit notes and refunds accurately and efficiently
• Handle daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations and ensure correct cash allocation
• Update and review weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts
• Collect debts weekly or monthly and ensure cashflow forecasts align with business requirements
• Reconcile and close all relevant bank accounts accurately for month-end debtor reporting
• Maintain all relevant client documentation in accordance with company policies and guidelines
