Credit Hire Handler

We are a busy claims company based in Carshalton, Surrey working on behalf of an insurance company who specialises in Hire and Reward. We are delighted to offer an exciting new opportunity to join our specialist Commercial Motor Claims Department.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Credit Hire Handler to manage a portfolio of third party and accidental damage claims. You will proactively manage a caseload of claims making liability enquires, handling the AD and TP side of the claim.

What you will be doing:

Proactive management approach to handle an allocation of files,

Maintaining strong diary management.

Ensuring your portfolio is realistically and accurately reserved in line with best practice and the earliest opportunity and referring those highlighted as exceeding authority.

Understand when to utilise external suppliers to ensure the best outcome for the business with minimal claims spend.

Maintain own technical knowledge through training.

Directly reporting to the Assistant Claims Manager.

What we’re looking for:

At least 2 years’ experience in handling AD and TP claims in the Motor Insurance Industry.

Strong, decisive, and confident communicator

Self-motivated individual who can also mentor less experienced members of the team.

Driven and enthusiastic - meets or exceeds targets.

Accurate with a high level of attention to detail.

Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9.00am -17.30pm

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
