Credit Officer

Looking for a dedicated and detail-minded Credit Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting professional credit assessments and supporting the company’s risk management and compliance framework.

Main Responsibilities

• Review and approve credit proposals of mortgage loan applications.

• Perform credit and risk assessments on loan applications and provide sound recommendations.

• Ensure approval processes are in full compliance with internal policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Conduct post-approval monitoring, customer visits and/or inspections, where necessary.

• Prepare various credit and risk-related reports for management review and decision-making.

• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree or above, preferably in a business-related discipline (e.g. Business, Banking & Finance, Risk Management or related fields).

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a bank, preferably in credit, risk or lending-related functions.

• Strong analytical skills with sound judgment, able to identify and assess credit risks independently.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-initiated, responsible and a good team player.

• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
