Credit Officer (Temporary Assignment)

About the Role

Arya Banque Privée SA is looking for an experienced Credit Officer to join its Credit team on a temporary assignment, with an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a banking professional with solid expertise in private banking lending, particularly Lombard credits, who can quickly integrate into the team and contribute from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day credit portfolio, with a particular focus on Lombard lending.
• Analyse and prepare new credit applications, renewals and amendments.
• Assess clients' creditworthiness and the adequacy of collateral.
• Monitor collateral values, margin calls and credit exposures.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank's credit policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare credit recommendations and supporting documentation for the relevant approval authorities.
• Liaise with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Risk, Legal and Operations to ensure efficient credit processing.
• Monitor credit limits, covenants and documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit processes and controls.
• Support the team with ad hoc credit-related projects, as required.

Profile

• Several years of experience as a Credit Officer within a Swiss private bank.
• Strong expertise in Lombard lending and secured credit facilities.
• Good understanding of Swiss banking regulations and credit risk principles.
• Experience in analysing complex client structures and collateral.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English. French is an asset. Additional languages are welcome.
