Credit Risk Analytics Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver credit risk analytics and modelling projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Prepare, validate, and analyse data to support portfolio insights and model development.
• Develop and implement end-to-end credit risk models, including testing and deployment support.
• Build challenger or benchmark models to assess and validate model performance.
• Present analytical findings, model outputs, assumptions, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation to support governance, audit, and BAU transition requirements.
• Plan and execute UAT for model, data, and reporting changes.
• Create test scenarios, validate results, manage defects, and coordinate re-testing activities.
• Perform control checks and maintain testing evidence for governance and audit purposes.
• Partner with Credit Risk, Finance, Data, and Technology teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation.
• Provide regular project updates and support governance reviews, handovers, and stakeholder communications.

Requirements

• Experience delivering credit risk analytics and/or end-to-end model development projects within financial services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to regulatory, financial risk, or impairment modelling projects.
• Experience developing challenger models and conducting model performance assessments.
• Understanding of governance, controls, documentation, and audit requirements within regulated environments.
