Credit Underwriter

The functional responsibilities would comprise of Credit underwriting and assessment of Retails Loans comprise of Housing Loans, Mortgage Loans, Personal Loans, Vehicle Loans, Education Loans, Working capital limits to traders/ shopkeepers, small buisnesses, SHGs and other special schemes of the Bank

Actively support in achievement of business goals for Retail loans & advances. This includes adherence to TAT, meeting budgeted profits, achieving targeted asset level, building a smooth process flow, arresting asset quality slippages and assist in achieving budgeted fee based revenues etc.

Responsible for closely monitoring and maintaining asset quality, supervision and control of the Retail credit portfolio of the bank.

Conduct Personal Discussion with customers and visit to customer / business / Office / site / residence / mortgage asset.

Responsible for assisting the teams with implementing marketing strategies, tie - ups and process re-engineering in the Retail portfolio to achieve business targets and maximize returns.

Providing effective quantitative and qualitative reporting and MIS to Senior Management for better strategic decision making.

Periodically review, renew and monitor the portfolio to ensure asset quality is maintained.

Effectively liaison with registered dealers, vendors and authorities of various tie-ups engaged for the growth of the Retail loan portfolio , SHGs, etc.
