About the Role:

Faithful Friends Pet Crematory is looking for a dedicated and compassionate staff member to join our team in Warren, RI. This is a meaningful role where you will play an essential part in providing dignified, respectful care during one of life's most important moments. Responsibilities:

• Perform cremation procedures in accordance with state regulations and industry standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and chain-of-custody records for all cremation cases
• Ensure proper identification and handling of deceased individuals throughout the cremation process
• Operate and maintain cremation equipment, assisting with routine inspections and cleaning
• Process cremated remains and prepare them for return to families in a respectful manner
• Coordinate with pet families to ensure timely and accurate completion of cremation services
• Adhere to all OSHA, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Meet with families bringing pets into our care
• Answering phones

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a crematory, funeral home, or mortuary setting preferred
• Crematory operator certification or willingness to obtain licensure in Rhode Island
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
• Physical ability to lift and move deceased individuals and pets with proper equipment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends as needed
• Respectful demeanor and a genuine desire to serve grieving families
• Good telephone skills
