Creo Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Proficiency in Creo Software

• Hands-on experience in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and concept design.
• Ability to create detailed 2D drawings with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) knowledge.

2. Tool & Fixture Design Expertise

• Design of assembly tools, tackles, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods like machining, welding, hardening, and heat treatment.

3. Material Selection

• Ability to select appropriate materials for tools, fixtures, and tackles based on strength, durability, and cost.

4. Concept Development & Modeling

• Capability to develop 3D concepts for fixtures and convert them into manufacturable designs.
• Knowledge of design validation and optimization techniques.

5. GD&T and Standards Compliance

• Familiarity with for GD&T.
• Understanding of Model-Based Definition (MBD) practices.

Additional Technical Skills

• Tolerance Analysis and stack-up calculations.
• Error-proofing techniques (Poka-Yoke) and FMEA awareness.
• Reverse Engineering and adaptation of existing designs.
