Creo Designer

Overview

We are seeking a talented and innovative Creo Designer to join our dynamic product development team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) and digital modeling to bring ideas to life through detailed 3D models, prototypes, and technical drawings. Your creative problem-solving skills and technical proficiency will be essential in developing cutting-edge designs that meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects across industries such as industrial design, packaging, furniture, and product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and CAD drawings using Creo and other software tools to support product design and engineering processes
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing to refine design concepts and ensure feasibility
• Conduct design research and apply design thinking principles to generate innovative solutions that align with project goals
• Prepare technical documentation, assembly instructions, and fabrication files for manufacturing or prototyping purposes
• Assist in the development of packaging designs that optimize functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability
• Support the entire product development lifecycle from initial sketches to final production-ready models

Skills

• Proficiency in Creo for 3D CAD modeling and industrial design applications
• Solid understanding of design sketching, digital design techniques, and graphic design principles
• Expertise in product design, mechanical knowledge, mechanical design prototyping, and engineering design processes
• Familiarity with packaging design, fabrication methods, manufacturing processes, and material selection
• Ability to perform 3D modeling for product development and create realistic renderings using KeyShot or similar software
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and presenting concepts effectively
• Knowledge of industrial design standards as well as experience with prototype development and testing

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
