Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as PAR POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Manage customer orders efficiently, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Process retail sales transactions accurately, including cash register operations and processing cash or card payments.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as PAR POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and order accuracy.
