Lead Deck Installer / Crew Leader

Location: Gresham, OR

Pay: $26 to $34 per hour (DOE)

Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Deck Installation Crew Leader to join our team. If you've built decks professionally, enjoy leading a crew, and take pride in producing high-quality work, we want to talk to you.

We're experiencing strong demand for custom deck installations and need experienced leaders who can step in, lead projects, and help us continue delivering exceptional service to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Lead a crew installing custom wood and composite decks
• Read plans and coordinate daily job activities
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Rick's quality standards
• Train and mentor crew members
• Communicate with homeowners and project managers
• Solve field issues while maintaining project schedules
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment

What We're Looking For

Required

• Previous experience building residential decks
• Experience leading or supervising an installation crew
• Ability to read plans and layouts
• Strong knowledge of framing, footings, stairs, rail systems, and decking materials
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred

• Fence installation experience
• Experience with composite decking products including Trex, TimberTech, or similar manufacturers
• General carpentry experience

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36.0 per week
